Word of Mouth Still Counts

I was recently talking to colleagues and friends about which Content Management System (CMS) is the way to go for a new website. I’ve been researching this question for a while. There are so many options to consider, costs to manage, deadlines to meet. I’ve read the blogs, asked the experts and still, a positive endorsement from a friend or colleague counts for a lot.

It got me thinking… the more information we have access to, sometimes; the more difficult it is to make a decision. When we need to make big decision about how to invest our communications dollars, or delicate issues we need to manage, we still seek out the advice of people we trust. That means that if you’re in business… just about any business make sure your building champions. People are still your best promoters.
